REGISTRATION

The global alumni network, students and faculty members of premier b'schools, renowned entrepreneurs, corporate partners and fitness enthusiasts will support and participate in the marathon. Proceeds from the event will go towards developing IIT Powai campus and nurturing the spirit of entrepreneurship at IIT Powai We have a limited capacity of 4000 participants and hence register right away to avoid disappointment Select the run based on your fitness and preference.

This run is free for the IIT Bombay students.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

We are running for a good cause - nurturing the spirit of entrepreneurship and supporting charities. And, the alumni are setting the trend along with corporate professionals and fitness enthusiasts with the intent of giving back to their own campus.

The Rules and Regulations for the IIT Bombay Run are as below:

The last of registering for IITBombayRun is 4th March 2016
Bibs will be distributed on the 3/4 & 5 March, 2016 between 10:00 am to 7:30 pm
The bib needs to be collected from the SAC office, near old swimming pool, IIT Bombay, Powai. Please provide the receipt mailed to you at the time of payment
Assembly Time is 5: 30 am for 21 kms& 11 kms run & 7: 30 am for the 5 kms.
There is No Parking Facility available at IIT Bombay for any kind of vehicle. Please use public transport to drop you off to Main Gate/ Gate No 2 IIT Bomaby, Powai
Its a 1 km ( 17 Min walk ) from the Main gate to Start Point, so please allow time for this in Your Schedule to arrive to Start Point.
* Though we have a provision to store bags on run day, it is advisable that you do not carry any baggage to avoid Security concern. IIT Bombay Run cannot guarantee Safe Guarding your valuables.
* Wearing a BIB is mandatory. The security will not allow you past the main gate to the Start Point without the BIB.
* Please insure an Emergency Mobile Contact No is written behind your BIB & also mention if you are allergic to any medicines.
If under 14 to be accompanied by an adult.
Any requests for cancellation and thereby refund will not be entertained.
We don't have Prize Money but,will be felicitating with a token of appreciation, Trophies for Winners of 21 km & 11 km across both Genders.
Each participant will we rewarded with an e Certificate and a Finishers Medal.
I/my ward declare, confirm and agree as follows:
The information given by me/my ward in this entry form is true.
I/my ward is/am solely responsible for the accuracy of this information.
Have fully understood the risk and responsibility of participating in the "IIT Bombay Run" event and will be participating entirely at my/his/her risk and responsibility;
Understand the risk of participating on a course with vehicular traffics, even if the course may be regulated/policed;
Understand that I/my ward must be of, and must train to, an appropriate level of fitness to participate in such a physically demanding event and I/my ward have obtained a medical clearance from a registered medical practitioner, allowing me to participate in the event/s;

For myself/ourselves and our legal representatives, waive all claim of whatsoever nature against any and all sponsors of the event, Mumbai city, all political entities, authorities and official, all contractors and construction firms working on or near the course, all IIT Bombay official and volunteers, and all other person and entities associated with the event and the directors. Employees, agent and respective of all or any of the aforementioned including, but not limited to, any claims that might result from me/my ward participating in the event and whether on account of illness, injury, death or otherwise;
Agree that if I am/my ward is injured or taken ill or otherwise suffer/s any detriment whatsoever, I hereby irrevocably authorize the event official and organizers to at my/our risk and cost, transport me/my ward to a medical facility and or to administer emergency medical treatment.
I/my ward waive/s all claim that might result from such transport and/ or treatment or delay or deficiency therein. I shall pay or reimburse to you my/my ward's medical and emergency expenses and I/my ward hereby authorize/s you to incur the same;
Shall provide to race official such medical data relating to me/my ward as they may request , I agree that nothing herein shall oblige the event official or organizers or any other person to incur any expense to provide any transport or treatment;
In case of any illness or injury caused to me or my ward or death suffered by me or my ward due to any force majeure event including but not limited to fire, riots or other civil disturbances, earthquake, storms, typhoons or any terrorist, none of the sponsors of the event or any political entity or authorities and official or any contractor or construction firm working on or near the course, or any of the IIT Bombay Committee persons, official or volunteers or any person or entities associated with event or the directors, employee, agents or representative of all or any of the aforementioned shall be held liable by me/my ward or my/my ward's representative;
Understand, agree and irrevocably permit organisers to share the information given me/my ward's in this application, with all/any entities associated with the IIT- Bombay Run, at its own discretion;
Understand, agree and irrevocably permit organisers to use my/my ward's photograph which may be photographed on the day of the event, for the sole purpose of promoting the IIT- Bombay Run, at its own discretion;
Shall not hold the organizers and all/any of the event sponsors responsible for loss of my/his/her entry form and / or entry fee transit;
I/my ward understand and agree to the event terms and guidelines.
